Copernicus and astronomy in Torun

We will visit Nicolas Copernicus House - museum housed in two small Gothic burgher houses - one of which used to be a merchant's storage space, and the other the house where the scientist Nicholas Copernicus was born, adapted for use as a museum during the years 1960-1963 and 1972-1973. We will also visit St. Johns' Cathedral with Copernicus Chapel - where the great astronomer was baptised.

We will visit the biggest and the most famous Polish lowland health-resort, one of the most popular holiday-resorts. It is here where you can find particular complex of 19th century saline graduation towers. The air surrounding it, saturated with atomised iodine-content brine, has specific medicinal properties. Beautiful parks and flower-beds, fountains, pump-wells and so on.
